First Edition Sozu.S1 Arcade Stick (Duotone) - For SNES & Super Famicom

Care & Operation

When first receiving your arcade stick you’ll need to attach the balltop to the joystick. To do this, firmly hold the shaft of the Sanwa JLF joystick and screw the balltop on in a clockwise direction, for storage don’t forget to take it off again. If you require a more permanent and tighter balltop fit, it's recommend to use pliers on the shaft using a thick soft cloth to protect the plier jaws from scratching it.

 

Don’t rest the arcade stick on uneven surfaces to avoid scratching the underneath. Do not pull or stress the controller cable to avoid damage. 

 

Store the unit in a dry place, avoid humid conditions. Do not store in an excessively hot environment or near heat sources such as a radiator. Keep out of the way of direct sunlight.

 

Your new SOZU.S1 arcade stick is made from premium quality bamboo. Due to it’s wood-like structure it can take on scratches like similar hardwood materials, so please treat with care. When creating a tactile product we have purposefully chosen some materials that will take on a beautiful patina with age. The brass embedded arcade token and aluminium parts can oxidise over time. If you do not like this look, buff lightly with a soft dry cloth from time to time. 

 

Warranty

The warranty covers the product against manufacturing defects for 12 months after the date of purchase. The warranty only covers the original purchaser. We reserve the right to repair, refund or replace the item at our own discretion. Any misuse, accidental dropping or liquid damage will void the warranty. 

 

The SOZU.S1 is for use only with the original SNES & Super Famicom consoles and the warranty does not cover any use with cloned consoles or other systems. Any modification or opening of the electronics compartment will void the warranty. Wear and tear is not covered by the warranty.

Do not open the electronics compartment, danger of electrocution. Do not use the product if the underneath electronics compartment cover is damaged. Do not use the product if the controller cable is frayed or if bare wires are exposed.

In the unlikely event that there has been damage to the product during transit please email us immediately upon delivery. Contact insertcoin@shikaarcades.com quoting your invoice and serial number.

 

The packaging including the tape is fully recyclable. However, all of the packaging including the outer box must be retained if you wish to return the product within the 14-day return period.

 

Used items cannot be accepted for return under any circumstances. Returns can only be accepted for brand new condition items. If returning, the item must be authorised first by emailing insertcoin@shikaarcades.com quoting your order and serial number, you will then receive an email back with details and the return address.

 

Please note that we cannot cover postage expenses for returned items. We recommend using a tracked and insured service retaining all proof of postage, as we are not responsible for items that go missing or are damaged. 

 

You have a right to cancel the order once it's placed until 14 days after the delivery date. Once the product has been posted we cannot stop delivery and you will have to return it. Therefore if you decide to cancel the order it's of upmost importance that you contact us straight away at insertcoin@shikarcades.com. Please state your order number in the subject heading. During busy periods it could take us up to 48hrs to respond (not including weekends) but we aim to reply sooner than that. 

Price currently includes free UK & EU delivery. Postage & insurance costs are subsidised by Shika Arcades. Delivery is carried out by Parcelforce, tracking numbers will be emailed to you on dispatch.
